Forest Fire Assistant marks a new international milestone with the official confirmation of the inclusion of its Forest Fire Assistant-Intelligence platform in the Global Fire Data Inventory, developed by the Working Group on Fire Data (WGFD) within the framework of the FAO Global Fire Management Hub (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations).
The catalog brings together the world's most advanced reference technologies and geospatial data sources for Integrated Fire Management (IFM). Within the specialized category "Fire Tech & Global Solutions", the platform developed by Joan Manuel Cuevas ranks among a select 20% of solutions that provide continuous technical support across the three phases of the emergency cycle: Pre-Fire (prevention and risk intelligence), During Fire (tactical support and real-time operational monitoring) and Post-Fire (impact and burned-area assessment).
This international recognition consolidates FFA's technical leadership, adding to its victory in the European Union's FIRE-RES Open Innovation Challenge 2024 and the deployment of pilot tests in Sardinia, Italy, positioning the tool as a comprehensive end-to-end solution for fire management agencies and emergency teams worldwide.
